DONNER LAKE

The boat ramp is open. Anglers are seeing a decent Mackinaw bite first thing in the morning. Any anglers fishing for rainbows can try off the shore. A few bait recommendations are powerbait, worms, or salmon eggs with a bottom fish finder rig, kastmasters, rooster tails, and sinking rapalas.  Donner Lake is currently at 60% capacity.

BOCA RESERVOIR

Very fishable. Please remember if you are fishing the inlet, it is moving water and it’s no bait, catch and release regulations. Anglers can try using worms, powerbait, small kastmasters, or jigging with powerbait fry and mealworms. Boca is currently at 65% capacity.

STAMPEDE RESERVOIR

Access is open via Hirschdale exit around Boca Reservoir. Good shore access right now for anglers. North side of the lake access is still tough right now. Anglers can try try using powerbait, worms, salmon eggs, kastmasters, rooster tails, sinking rapalas, and fish finder bottom rigs./span>

Stampede is currently at 50% capacity.

PROSSER CREEK RESERVOIR

Shore fishing is good for anglers. Boats can be launched off the boat ramp off Prosser Dam Road. Some bait options to try are powerbait, worms, salmon eggs, small spoons, and powerbait fry.

Prosser Creek Reservoir is currently at 40% capacity.

JACKSON MEADOWS RESERVOIR

Still tough to access for anglers.

PYRAMID LAKE

Fish are moving into the shallows more so trolling in 30 to 50 feet is producing best. Fast troll of 2mph is recommended. Bug recommendations are black balanced leeches, chartreuse and white beetles, or white/black/chartreuse wooly worms.
