East Walker River

Flows are down to 29 CFS. This is typical for this time of year. The fishing has been outstanding as of late. Ice will surely start to be an issue in the weeks to come but right now it has not been an issue. One of Reno Fly Shop's guides Chris Evison had a client catch and release 17 fish last weekend. nymphing with size 16-20 nymphs under an indicator has been working well. There has been some sporadic dry fly fishing in the afternoons as well.
