Fishing has been phenomenal and fishing dries has been productive. The Calibaetis are showing up in crazy numbers the past couple of days as well as some traveling sedge mixed in with our first couple damsels as well. Lots of options for fish and anglers can make it a little tricky but keep switching if you aren’t getting looks and tippet down if you can’t make them commit. Fish can get very picky as to which specific bug they want and even what stage that bug is in, only eating the nymph, or the emerger. Having plenty of options in your box is key on days when fish are feeding selectively on any one of the many many bugs that might be flying around. The weather is gonna be a little cooler up on the lakes this weekend with cloud cover and maybe some rain forcasted into the next couple of days be prepared with an extra layer or two and a rain jacket.

Recommended Nymphs: Two Bit Hooker #16-20, Zebra Midge #18-22, Poxyback Cali, Feather Duster Cali, Balanced Leeches #14 Black or Green, Mighty May Cali #14-18.
