Fishing on the river has been decent as of late. Most of the reports have come from the Nevada side of the river. the flows through Reno are up to around 500 CFS. it is getting a little tough to fish the water the fish have been holding in. Most of the fish have been caught in the deeper slower runs. Nymphing with stonefly nymphs and a smaller dropper under an indicator has been effective. On the California side the water is 200 CFS between the Town of Truckee and Boca bridge. These flows are perfect and the fishing should be really good until the run off starts.
