Water Conditions: Good
Flows are at 198 cfs as of 4/22
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good-Very Good
It is still a little dirty starting about 9 gates down but getting better. Hatches have been a lot shorter in duration, but the trout don't seem to care. Nothing new overall, Midges early with Mayflies and Caddis midday - midafternoon. Not great dry fly action but the nymphing is so good it's hard to complain. I haven't heard anything about evenings but once we get through this unsettled weather it should be worth a shot. Ona side note, guides have been reporting Tricos on Hot Creek (only 3 months early). If they're hatching up there maybe... I'll see if I can find any news in the next couple of days.
