The Metolius has been fishing well. Green drakes and caddis have fish looking up on some days and this makes for very fun dry fly fishing. Nymphing remains the most consistent method for bringing fish to the net. Golden stones, perdigons, two-bits, caddis pupae, and small mayfly nymphs will all work this time of year. The upper river above Allingham bridge is open now so there's plenty of water to spread out on. For bull trout, swinging large streamers or dead drifting  them under an indicator are both good methods. This is a very fun time of year to be on the met so get out there and get after some fish!
