The Crooked River has been fishing well. Nymphing is the best method for targeting fish all day long. Zebra midges, two-bits, scuds, and rainbow warriors are all flies we like to use on the crooked. Pmd’s and caddis should be kept in your box as well for if and when you do find rising trout. Dry-dropper setups can be fun and effective on the crooked as well. Swinging flies before and after prominent hatches is also a fun way to get some grabs.
