High Water on The Crooked River

The Fly Fishers Place

The atmospheric river with warm rain over snow in the Ochocco’s has created some bigger than expected runoff conditions on the Crooked River.
The conditions below the dam are high, about twice normal summer flows and about 6 times higher than normal winter flows.
I’d pass on it for a bit until the water comes back down, which I would imagine will be fairly soon later this week.

Fall River and the Metolius are in good shape and very fishable this week.
