The Crooked is holding steady with solid fishing, especially in the afternoons. Firestarter perdigons, BWO perdigons, and scuds in tan, orange, or green have been working well. Adjust your depth and weight as needed, and you'll find fish hanging out in deeper pools and runs. Dry fly fishing is winding down for the season, but nymphing continues to provide consistent action. The Crooked remains a fantastic winter fishery with lots of open water and plenty of fish ready to eat.
