Fishing Conditions

Above Vallecito the flows will be rising, and waters will be cold.

Below, the outflow of the dam has been raised and fishing will be picking up.  With the higher flows below, fishing a heavy nymph rig with worms, stonefly nymphs, and baetis is a good idea.


Patterns/Bug

Nymphs: Prince nymphs 14-18, Pat’s Rubberlegs 8-12 or Jigged Pats 8-12, Black and Blue Copper Johns 14-18, Pheasant tails 18-22, Juju Baetis 18-20, Disco Midge 18-20, Rainbow Warrior 18-22.  San Juan Worms.
