Amazing Spring weather on the Truckee River. Couldn't ask for nicer weather. Soon I'll be complaining about how hot is, for now, enjoy it while it's here. 

Flows are still rather high, below Boca -into Reno, and out East through the Nature Conservancy. 350 cfs, coming out of Lake Tahoe, and water being released just about everywhere else, Donner Lake, etc. All the feeder streams are pumping pretty good too. Clarity is very good though. 

Your best wading access is probably above the inlet at Boca on towards Tahoe City. The whole upper river is in perfect shape right now. The river is much bigger below Boca and into Reno. Good everywhere, but harder for folks in higher water trying to find some zones to fish. 

Bugs galore, and just about any rig can get you fish right now. Streamers, nymphs, etc. 

Spring is the time for the big fish...
