Not many reports from Trollers, but bait fisherman at South Lake are doing well

After some rough weather earlier in the week, including some serious wind and about a foot of snow, things calmed down and the fishing went back to where it has been over the past few weeks with plenty of limits with a few big fish mixed in.

Not many reports from trollers but bait anglers reported solid action on Chunky Cheese, Garlic or Salmon Peach Powerbait or nightcrawlers. Mini-jigs, Thomas Bouyants and powerworms in orange or pink are still producing well for those who prefer artificials.

The dam, the rock slide and all three inlets are the best spots on the lake but a couple decent fish in the 3 lb. class were caught at Buck Tucker cove as well (you'll have to have the marina staff to show you that spot).

The lake level is still only a few feet down from full capacity so access is exceptional for both shore and boat anglers.
