The 51 anglers checked at Loveland last week reported catching 12 bass, 7 bluegill, 1 catfish and 2 sunfish. Loveland is open 7 days per week to shorefishing only (on a limited stretch). There is no fee to fish at Loveland, but a valid California State Fishing License is required. In order to prevent the spread of quagga mussels, no live bait is allowed at Loveland excluding meal worms, red worms, night crawlers, crickets and other bait that does not live, or get stored in water.
