Fly Fishing can be very good in the Owens River Gorge, the problem is getting by the stinging nettle

Water Conditions: Great the flow is at 45 CFS. This is a permanent flow required to be maintained by LADWP.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Excellent but the Stinging Nettles are roughly 5-6 feet tall. Just a warning. If you can get past them, we're hearing the fishing is quite good.
