have been some nice 3 to 4 pound browns being caught as well! Power bait, Fire Bait, Gulp Clusters and crawlers have been doing well and lures to run off your lead core include rapalas, needlefish and krocadiles.

Welcome fisher folks to the 2009 season!! Opening day is April 25 so make plans soon....Finally Mother Nature is is trying to work with us... Recent storms are filling the reservoir and the long range forecasts are positive... Last year we experienced a lot of dry weather and the levels of the reservior suffered.... The fishing DID NOT!!!! It was very consistent.. (My take on low water.....Same amount of fish, just more concentrated, hence....easier to catch?????).....Also thanks in part to......

Water Conditions: The water level is low, and the weeds are thick. Fishing Conditions and Hatches:GOOD Recently people have been catching some fish near the buckeye inlet early in the morning. Fish are moving up into the inlets and anywhere cooler water is coming in. Rainbow and Rocky point is still fishing good in 10-16 feet of water. Damsels, Callibaetis and midges are still coming off strong. Stripping Damsels, and Callibaetis are wise choices .Perch fry are on the menu as well. Recommended Flies: MIDGES #8-12......
