Dry Fly fishing is "off the hook" on the San Joaquin River

Water Conditions: Flows are at 240 cfs as of 6/26 and are dropping rapidly.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: With the little bit of moisture we've been getting, the flows have dramatically increased. The water is little off color. When nymphing, use bright and shiney flies. Fish the edges along the banks. Dry fly fishing is still off the hook!!!("off the hook"-slang term for fish'n great!!)

light cahill, mini hot garcia's , chernobyl, griffith gnats, sloan's outrigger stonefly, trapped dun pmd, hackle stacker, royal wulff, sierra brite dot, stimulator, para kicking hopper, fat albert, baby boy hopper, hatch matcher, extended body bwo

NYMPHS: #18 mighty may sloan, #18 pheasant tail, buckskin, copper johns, #16 prince nymphs, #18 salvation, #18 micro stones, wd40, #20 juju baetis, variety of midges
