Lots of changes to report this week. The water is still dropping which has made the weed bed edges in McGee very shallow. On top of this, the algae in McGee is starting to come back. We had our first fall cold front move through this week, which really slowed down the fishing. We are getting morning temps in the mid 30's. On the bright side, when the wind blows the algae out of McGee, you can still have some good days. Albino's early, then grey flies when the bugs start hatching. Anchor up just outside the weed beds in 5 feet of water, and keep the bottom fly about 4 to 6 inches from the bottom. You can fish the weed beds from the 395 shorline by the bathroom, all the way around the corner where McGee Creek flows into the lake. The fish up in the North Arm are still spread out. The drop offs at 6-bays have been producing some fish. As well as 9 feet of water outside of Green Banks Bay.
