Nymphing with golden stone nymphs with a smaller dropper like a Z-wing caddis or a Burk\'s HBI has been working well. Make sure to also include a split shot or two to your rig. Dry dropper combos have also been working. Fish are starting to look up for golden stone dries during the day. Make sure to fish the shallow water around deeper pools before fishing the deeper water.

California - Fly fishing has been outstanding from the Town of Truckee to the state line. Flows are 165 in the section from Truckee to Boca Bridge. There has been a pmd hatch on most days mid morning and a strong caddis hatch in the evenings. There have also been a few green drakes hatching on cloudy days.
