The Fall River continues to fish really well and is fairly locked into its early summer rhythm. PMDs remain the main hatch focus during the afternoons and evening caddis activity has continued to improve with the warmer weather this last week.

Fish are spending more time looking up, particularly during calmer afternoons and evenings when hatch activity lines up. Dry fly opportunities are definitely improving, but subsurface setups are still producing the most consistent action overall.

Zebra Midges, Perdigons, 2-Bits, olive mayfly patterns, Pheasant Tails, and balanced leeches are all producing fish consistently. Long leaders and clean drifts continue to make a big difference, especially in the slower flats and along weed-edges.

Streamer fishing remains productive for anglers looking to move larger holdover fish around structure and weed lines. Smaller sculpins, mini jig leeches, and pine squirrel patterns are all moving fish.

Recommended Dries:
PMD Sparkle Dun #16-18, CDC PMD Emerger #16-18, Elk Hair Caddis #14-18, Purple Haze #16-20

Recommended Nymphs:
Zebra Midges #18-20, Perdigons #16-18, 2-Bits #16-18, Olive Mayfly Patterns #16-18, Balanced Leeches
