East Walker River Fishing Report

Truckee River Outfitters

Report Date:

The flows were steady for about a week at 160 cfs. In the past couple of days they have started to fluctuate over the past couple of days but nothing major so far. There have been a few snouts seen on the California side on cloudy days. Skwala stones are still around but not in the numbers of a few weeks ago. It is still worth tossing around a dry stone fly pattern with or without a dropper. Nymphs to use include; Baetis, small stoneflies, midges and any dark colored size 16 to 20 pattern. As always keep an eye on the flows before you go.
