The desert country (Truckee, Nevada side) is fishing well, so well in fact Kevin from Reno fished with me two days this week. A lot of folks don't think there's Trout down in the desert on the Truckee River; I can assure you there are. You won't see me down there in the summer, but this time of year it's on fire, the rattlers are gone, and them Trout are hungry. I'm off to Upper Klamath for a few with family, and we'll see if I get to swing some flies somewhere up there. Some stills from the last two days.
