The Wild Rainbow Trout fishing on the Sacramento River from Redding to Anderson has finally come on good after all the storms we had last month and the river is still a little murky. Richard and his son Garrett were up last week end for some Trout fishing they hooked about 30 fish and landed half of them most of the Wild Rainbow Trout were about 13 inches with one 17 inches. The Trout fishing is only going to get better as it warms up more the best way to hook up is drifting fly's or Pulling plugs.

Sacramento River Striper fishing has started getting good in the Colusa area and will only get better as the water warm up and the flows are increased out of Shasta Dam since the lake is full now from the recent storms. My favored way to fish for Stripers is with Minnows and the Sacramento River in Colusa area is just now clearing up enough to go do that. I am so exited I can hardly wait to go.
