When the clouds roll in Pale Morning Duns will emerge. Approach the Gallatin as you would the Madison. Sneak around the banks and cast upstream to spots that look fishy. The Madison below Quake Lake is still fishing well. The hot weather has pushed back evening emergences of caddis and Epeorus. Don't be surprised if the fish are reluctant to rise until the sun is low and the water cools off. Keep an eye on the water for spinners as well.
