The Green Drake hatch is now widespread from Canyon Creek downstream. Expect hatch activity around the hottest part of the day, usually around 3 or 4 pm.

PMDs are emerging a few times a day. Fish all life stages: nymphs, emergers, duns, and spinners. Caddis activity is increasing, especially during the evening. Olive and tan pupa patterns are productive throughout the day. Yellow Sallies are also active, and Golden Stones are starting to hatch as well but the fish may not be keying in on them yet.

Euro nymphing remains very effective with Perdigons in olive, brown, pink, yellow, and orange, along with Frenchies, Duracells, and Walt’s Worms (check out the sexy walt's next time you're in too). Adjust bead size based on depth and flow.
