Report: The Fall is a good place to go for solitude in October. There are still opportunities to fish to rising fish, a lot of fish are in the shallower locations hiding in the weeds. PMDs and BWOs are coming off, best opportunities will be mid-morning through the mid day. Wind usually picks up around 2:00 p.m. For dries, the smaller Rusty Spinners, PMD Challenged and PMD Hackle Stackers, presented correctly, the same flies in BWO offerings will get fish. Dry-dropper with BP Weiss Nymphs, #18 Peaches 'n Cream, and ZT's BWO Jig Nation dropper will pick up fish not eating up top.
