Davis Lake Fishing Report

This season should be unbelievable at Davis. The lake has been frozen over almost all winter but it is starting to thaw. Ice out at Davis is always a great time to be there. With warmer weather here now Davis should start to really get going. Usually right after ice out fish can be caught using sinking lines in 6 to 12 feet of water. Everything from wooly buggers to snail patterns can be tied on the end. Nymphing with midges and small nymphs can also be effective. Look for Davis to fish well for the next 3 months at least.
