Forecast for the next few days: Some dry fly fishing with hoppers and other small terrestials, fish are feeding on small scuds nymph with a small grey scud.

Other Comments: New Zealand mud snails have been confirmed in this section of the Green. This exotic species competes for the same food as insects which then displaces the insects that trout feed on. In order to prevent spreading these invaders to other waters, wash all equipment with bleach and allow it to completely dry (drying and freezing seem to kill them) before entering other waters.

Top producing fly patterns on the Green River have been:

Dry Flies: Idly's yellow hopper, sailor ant, CDC ant, twin towers, amber triple double, Double Ugly

Nymphs: Idly's baetis nymph, Small olive or grey scuds, Coppperhead Zebra, Brown Zebra, large natural colored san juan worm

Streamers: Yellow Dungeons, Gold Bugger, Black silvey's sculpin
